Instructions for General Use:

  1. Apply four pea sized drops of Adam’s Heavy Cutting Compound evenly distributed across any of an Adam’s Heavy Cutting Wool Pad, Blue Compound Pad, Microfiber Cutting Pad or similar.
  2. To avoid slinging, spread the product evenly onto the surface.
  3. Set polisher speed to a setting of 4 – 6, turn on polisher, and, moving at a slow pace and moderate to light pressure, polish a section of the vehicle in a cross-hatch pattern while overlapping slightly working a panel at a time.
  4. Over the course of 40-60 seconds, complete 2 – 3 full cross-hatch passes across panel and turn off the polisher while leaving the pad in contact with the surface until fully stopped.
  5. Wipe away polishing residues with a quality microfiber towel and examine the finish of the surface utilizing quality lighting. If the surface still contains undesirable imperfections, repeat the polishing process again.

Common Sense Warning:

Adam’s Heavy Cutting Compound will work best on a clean, freshly clayed surface that is free of any larger dirt and debris that could get incorporated into the polishing process. Failure to prepare the surface before polishing could lead to scratching and marring.
