Adam's Wheel & Tire Cleaner

Adam’s Wheel & Tire Cleaner effectively loosens contaminants on and around your wheels and tires, while leaving the surface completely bare and ready for a dressing. This non-acid, foaming formulation allows users to clean tire surfaces of old, caked-on tire dressings while being able to use the same product on their wheel surfaces to clean brake dust with ease. As with our recent upgrade to Wheel Cleaner to make the formula more effective at clinging to a substrate, we utilized this same chemistry in Adam’s Wheel & Tire Cleaner. 

Adam’s Wheel & Tire Cleaner contains a blend of alkaline-concentrated solvents and surfactants to create a high sudsing formula and removes silicones, greases, wax build-up, polymers, and any previously applied dressings to leave your tires and wheels looking new. Adam’s Wheel & Tire Cleaner combines an essential part of the first step in basic wash practices when cleaning your wheels and tires first before the remainder of the vehicle comes in contact with water. Adam’s Tire & Rubber Cleaner has set the standard for rubber, tire, and plastic trim cleaning products without using harsh ingredients that are harmful to you or the environment— now we have successfully bonded extreme tire cleaning with exceptional wheel cleaning.

This product can be used in full sun and can be used on any tire, factory wheel finish, or engine bay component.

How To Use: 

Step 1. 

Clean one wheel and tire at a time. Rinse wheels & tires thoroughly with a strong blast from the hose.

Step 2: 

Spray the tire sidewall and wheel surfaces liberally with Adam’s All in One Wheel & Tire Cleaner.

Step 3: 

Scrub the tire sidewall with Adam’s Tire Brush and Wheel Surfaces with Adam’s Wheel Brush and Barrel Brush. Do not allow product to dry onto any surface of the wheel.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Are there any precautions to using this product? Yes. This product must only be used on wheels and tires that are cool to the touch and out of sunlight. Allowing this product to dry on the surface increases your chances of staining your wheel surfaces. 

Can I use this product on aftermarket wheels? Yes, this product can be used on aftermarket wheels as long as the wheels are clear coated or powder coated with a non-metallic finish. Ensure wheels are cool to the touch and rinsed before applying product.

Can this product be used on ceramic coated wheels?Yes, this product can easily be used with ceramic coated wheels and will not degrade the coating. Ensure wheels are thoroughly rinsed and cool to the touch before spraying chemical.

Does this product remove iron/ turn purple? No, this product’s active ingredients are higher pH and non-acidic. The active ingredient in Wheel Cleaner, Sodium Thioglycolate, activates with ferrous metals and turns brake dust purple. 

Will this product remove old tire dressings/ Tire Armor? Yes. This product is intended to deeply clean and cleanse rubber and wheel surfaces— With that being said, the existing dressings (both silicone and water-based emulsions) will be removed once agitated with a Tire Brush.

Will this product remove protection on wheels outside of Ceramic Coating? Yes. This product is intended to deeply clean wheel surfaces— With that being said, the existing protection (both silicone and water-based emulsions) will be removed once agitated with a Wheel Brush and/or Barrel Brush.

Is this product safe on fender wells and engine bays? Yes, this product can be used full strength and/or diluted 2:1 on Fender Wells and Engine Bays to break down dirt and grime. 

Is this product damage prone if I get it on my paint? As with our Wheel Cleaner, this product is intended for use on Wheel & Tire surfaces— If this product does get on your paint, ensure the surface is rinsed immediately with clean water.

Is this product safe on vinyl wraps/ clear bras? In our testing, we noticed that the product surface stained clear bra when allowed to sit for an extended period of time, however, the stains were removed with Correcting Polish and a Correcting Pad.
